What is Thai Massage?
Traditional Thai massage is a traditional healing system originating in Thailand over 2,500 years ago. It combines acupressure, Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures to restore balance, flexibility, and energy flow in the body. The practice is based on the belief that energy, or "Prana," flows through a network of pathways called "Sen lines." By stimulating these lines through pressure and stretching, practitioners aim to release blockages and restore the body's natural energy balance.
Unlike many other types of massage, Thai massage typically does not use oils or lotions and is performed fully clothed, with the recipient wearing loose, comfortable garments to facilitate movement and stretching. The dynamic and interactive nature of Thai massage is supported by the practitioner's body weight and leverage, and it often includes yoga-like assisted stretches and positions to increase flexibility, improve joint mobility, and promote relaxation. The practice emphasizes mindfulness and intentional movement, with practitioners often maintaining a meditative state, synchronizing their breathing and motions to create a rhythmic and therapeutic experience.
What to expect:
You’ll lie on a comfortable floor mat in relaxed clothing.
The session feels like a combination of massage, yoga, and meditation, all in one.
It’s both deeply relaxing and physically rejuvenating.

*Payment for your session is due when your booking is confirmed. If you need to reschedule, just give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we’ll happily find a new time that works for you. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
